This article outlines what the difference between Abandoned Lessons vs Lessons In The Hole and where to locate this in the Student Account section of CaddyMaster.
The options below can be found on the right-hand side of the Student Account in CaddyMaster.
- A Lesson in the Hole is a lesson that was not paid for.
- If a student has Lessons in the Hole, it can cause issues when they attempt to purchase a new Lesson Plan. Notify the coach if you see Lessons In The Hole.
- The coach can clear out those lessons to correct any errors that may occur with student profiles and accounts.
- Lessons Abandoned are Lessons that have gone beyond their Plan End date.
- These lessons can be reinstated, but that must be done by their Coach or the Center Manager.
- Students are often unware of their Plan End date and will reach out regarding their missing lesson credits. Always forward the inquiry to their coach and have the coach reach out to them regarding the missing credits.
- According to Company Policy, There is no guarantee that those lessons will be reinstated after the Plan End date. The coaches are the ones who ultimately need to make that call.
- It is best to avoid getting into a conversation with the student regarding how many lesson credits are designated as Abandoned as we cannot make any adjustments to the credit amount without coach authorization.
- Most coaches are happy to reinstate lesson credits, especially if the Plan End date was recent, but Plans that ended months or years ago are rarely reinstated. Either way, the coach needs to be the one to make that call.
